It is so very heartening to see that off late there is a lot of awakening amount the sri vaishnava community in general regarding their invaluable heritage and have come back in a big way to their roots , peace, harmony and enlightenment. A lot of charity donations have been taking place with regard to temples, mutts, acharyas, jeer’s. However there are so many people who are disadvantaged due to their economic situation which is resultant due to the apathy and discriminatory attitude of the state Government of Tamil Nadu in particular and Government of India in general. So many are therefore forced to leave their ancestral agraharam’s where there is prejudice from other communities due to the false propaganda by vested interests and brahmin bashing over the years. Their agricultural lands have either forcefully, decitfully taken away or purchased at throw away price after co-ercion and lack of protection, their houses reduced to rubble and property siphoned. People who are fortunate and graced by Sriman Narayana with abundance, should not neglect these individuals if they are in any way interested to save our cultural heritage. People should be supported financially to start businesses, educate their children and purchase houses in villages. the community owe’s this. it is imperative now!!!
