Can anyone please tell me when this serial ’Bharathathil Dharmam’ was started and where can I get the archive from episode 1. Unfortunately, maransdog site starts from 6th Jan 2010, but from that I infer the serial was started earlier. I will be highly grateful if the archives can be made available or indicate where I can find.

I had made one special request to all regarding the issue of providing an elephant to Sri Devarajaswami Temple(Lord Varada). Because of dispute regarding the Thiruman for elephant, the supreme court gave verdict some years back, that both the vadagalis and thenglais can have one elephant each with respective namams(thirumans ) being displayed, but the maintenance is to be done by the respective people and not by the temple.
The temple had elephant for many decades wearing Vadagalai namam., maintained by the temple.a But because of the supreme court verdict based on some decree etc., gave the above verdict .
Now a days two elephants bearing Vadagali/Thengalai namam each are seen in procession only during Bramhotsavam . generalyy these elephants belong to some mutts /other temples.
Such a big Divyadesam is deprived of permanent elephant. Previously the daily Thirumajnam Theertham used to be brought in a procession , mounted on the elephant, as it was Sri Bhashyakar’s Daily Kainkaryam.

I request all sri vaishanvites to draft a petition to the present a petition to Tamilnadu Govt (now favourably placed) to get two elephants one each for Vadagalai thiruman and another for Thengalai thiruman and maintain the same by the temple. The temple is having sufficient funds for this as you may know the Executive officer is in the Rank of Asstcommisioner or so.
Otherwise if the temple so wishes can call for donors and create funds for the same. there will be overwhelming contributions.
It may be mentioned that all festivals including daily poojas have Ubhayadars .
It is a unique divyadesam where both Vadagalis and Thengali Srivaishanvites participate with enthusiasm in daily poojas etc.
I am sure that Sri Velukudi Krishnan swamin can take the initiative and get the divine blessingsof Lord Varada of Hasthigiri.
